Trondhjem Community Preservation Society

The Trondhjem Community Preservation Society, Inc. was formed in 1988 by dedicated parish and community members. The mission of TCPS is to preserve and restore the Historic Trondhjem Church building, to collect and display the history of the community of Trondhjem, Minnesota, and to promote the use of the old building for appropriate functions such as community events, concerts, family reunions, and weddings.

After years of hard work, the monumental task of preserving and revitalizing the landmark church was completed. This achievement was recognized through the designation of Historic Trondhjem Church as a National Historic Site, and through a 2002 Preservation Alliance of Minnesota Award.

The Trondhjem Community Preservation Society, Inc. was formed in 1988 as a non-profit tax-exempt corporation in the State of Minnesota and contributions are tax deductible under the Internal Revenue Service Code section 509 (a) (1) and 501(c)3.

Purposes of the Society are to preserve and restore the Historic Trondhjem Church building, to collect and display the history of the community of Trondhjem, Minnesota, and to promote the use of the old building for appropriate functions such as community events, concerts, family reunions, and weddings.
