The non-profits that receive the greatest total amount of donations will receive an added bonus ranging from $10,000 to $1,000. Old Fashion Ice Cream Social
Join us on July 26, 2015 from Noon to 4:00 for our annual Ice Cream Social. Music will be provided by Gospel Road.
There is something for everyone to enjoy. Music, bake sale, children’s games, homemade hotdogs, pies, ice cream and visiting with friends, old and new.
We can’t think of any other such beautiful setting to enjoy on a beautiful summer day!

Come to the Workshop
Dear Friends:
Our annual TCPS Saturday workshop is scheduled for Saturday, March 8th. This should prove to be a fun, informative, low key and high calorie morning(!) beginning with coffee and donuts at 8:30.
Our guest will be Dale Quist, a TCPS member and President of the Christdala Church Preservation and Cemetery Association. He is going to give us an overview of their work and progress, and has said he wants to dialogue with us about our organization as well. So bring your questions for this great discussion!
We will also plan to brainstorm about the coming year’s committee work and the upcoming events. We will close with lunch and any wrap-up by 1:00 p.m.
We need YOUR input – along with that of any interested TCPS Members and volunteers. Please forward this email to any of your fellow committee or event workers, family members and anybody else that you think would be interested in coming. We would welcome you for any part of that morning that you are able to attend. Please let me know your availability so we can have an approximate head count for food.

Old Fashioned Ice Cream Social
Join us on July 28, 2013 from Noon to 4:00 for our annual Ice Cream Social. Music will be provided by Cheryl and Company, who have entertained us at several Ice Cream Socials. Cheryl and Company offer a program of folk and gospel songs and entertaining humor.

Celebrate Syttende Mai on May 19th
Come join the celebration of the Norwegian National Holiday, Syttende Mai, and gather at the old church on May 19 at 2:00 PM.
Leroy Larson and his Scandinavian Ensemble will play for this program. These excellent musicians play waltzes, polkas and schottisches that form the backbone of Scandinavian old-time dance music. They will entertain us with accordion, banjo, mandolin, guitar, fiddle, and button-box. The program is open to anyone and an offering will be taken for the care and preservation of the historic church.
A brief annual meeting will be held to elect members to the board of directors.
Following the program traditional Norwegian treats, open faced sandwiches and coffee will be served.
Gloryland Gospel Band to Entertain at Winter Concert
Sunday, February 17th at 2:00 p.m.

The Gloryland Gospel Band will entertain with music in the gospel, Christian, Elvis, Gaither and country rockabilly genre.

Christmas Eve Worship
Trondhjem Lutheran Church will celebrate Christmas Eve on December 24th at the historic church with an 11:00pm worship service. There will be special music, singing of carols, traditional candle lights and Holy Communion.

Winter Concert at Historic Trondhjem Church

Our winter concert will feature the Gloryland Gospel Band. They began as a small group in 1998 and today they are comprised of 15 highly talented musicians hailing from the Twin Cities.
They have performed at the Minnesota State Fair, Mall of America, American Swedish Institute, Veterans Hospital and a national appearance on Garrison Keillors’ Prairie Home Companion Radio Show.
Gloryland Gospel singers blend their backgrounds of Rock n’ Roll, Country & Bluegrass along with their high energy as they sing familiar hymns such as I’ll Fly Away, Just A Closer Walk, Peace In The Valley and many, many more!
